The Baptism of Burlesque Mentorship is a transformative 10-week in-person journey into the sensual art of burlesque. This immersive mentorship brings your creative power to life, guiding you to develop connection, presence, and storytelling through embodiment, movement, and dance.
With both solo and ensemble pathways, Rebekah will guide you through dance, technique, mobility, movement, and somatic awareness. Drawing on the tools of dance, theatre, Jungian psychology, and shadow work, you will explore archetypes and personal narratives, transforming your story into a performance that radiates authenticity and truth.
No dance or performance experience is needed—just your courage and curiosity to step into something transformative, sensual, and entirely your own.
MEET YOUR TEACHER
Rebekah is a multidisciplinary artist and sensual embodiment coach with 25 years of classical and contemporary dance experience. She blends movement, somatics, and archetypal exploration to help others reclaim creativity, pleasure, and the wild feminine. Founder of SULT Studio, she creates empowering spaces for adult dancers to reconnect with their bodies and expression. As her burlesque persona, Rara Claret, she weaves classical technique with raw feminine power—sacred, playful, and subversive.

who is this program for?

This course is for women who are ready to step into their creative power and express themselves without apology. It’s for those who feel a rising urge to know themselves more deeply and are ready to meet that call with courage and curiosity.
It’s for women who want a bold, playful, and empowered relationship with their bodies—who want to move, create, and live with more energy, confidence, and authenticity.
It’s for those who are done shrinking, done doubting, and done hiding parts of themselves.
This program is for you if you’re ready to be witnessed, celebrated, and supported as you reclaim your voice, your story, and your embodied feminine fire.
what should I
expect?

This is a transformative somatic journey into radical self-acceptance, authenticity, and the courage to be fully seen. You’ll work with an integrative blend of tools from movement, dance, Jungian principles, journaling, and deep introspection.
You’ll explore shadow aspects, patterns, and internal beliefs—uncovering the narratives that shape your identity and expression. Each lesson balances knowledge with embodied practice, allowing you to process and integrate your learning through movement.
You’ll be guided to meet yourself with compassion and curiosity as you develop new tools for creative expression and self-understanding. Through journaling, somatic exercises, dance, and supported rehearsal, you’ll discover what your body has been waiting to show you.
This course will challenge and strengthen you, ignite your creative fire, and expand your sense of possibility. Expect to leave with a more liberated relationship to yourself, your artistry, and your inner worldwhat sort of time commitmnet will it involve?

what will be expected of me?

When you enter this program you’ll be asked to trust your inner voice and be willing to peel back the layers of old identity, leaving self-doubt at the door. You’ll be expected to show up with dedication—engaging in the weekly sessions and the encouraged home, practices, reflections, and creative processes offered with honesty and intention. If weekly sessions are missed you are required to catch up on the recording and make contact with any questions that may present.
You will be asked to prioritise yourself and your needs during these 10 weeks. To take the time to honour the self-care guidance provided and to take the necessary space needed to nurture your emotional and physical wellbeing throughout the journey. Finally, you’ll be invited to share your story on stage—offering a piece of yourself to a loving, supportive audience, and allowing your transformation to be witnessed.
What are the performance requirements?

Solo Mentorship -
1 x Solo Act.
The process of the solo act will be one of self actualisation. you will not be learning a choreography - rather - with guidance from Myself - you will be unveiling the dance from within - birthing the story that is ready to immerge from you today. this will be performed in the final showcase.
1 x Ensemble act - the ensemble, taught during the Friday sessions and choreographed by Rebekah

This course is fully all-inclusive, and everything you need is already woven into the program. If at any point you feel called to explore something more personally, optional private sessions or studio time are available at a discounted rate.
Your program includes free access to all of Rebekah’s classes at SULT for the full 10 weeks.
If you’d like to expand your training and join classes with all SULT teachers, you can add a full-access pass for only $210 for the entire 10-week program. This is completely optional and offered as a special discounted inclusion for program participants.
Solo performers will also need to compile a costume for their individual act. This, too, can be as simple or as detailed as you desire. It’s you and your story that the audience comes to witness — the costume is simply an extension of that.

In week one, I was embarrassed and felt guilt and shame for wanting to move in sensual and erotic ways and felt so uncomfortable being witnessed, almost to the point of inability to move freely in solo lessons, because no way could I let someone witness me in a feminine erotic way that revealed my inner desires.
Forward to ten weeks later and I am on stage with not a thought of any of that and doing my thing, freely and raw and real and absolutely loving it. Wow! I am a little bit shocked to be honest. But I am stoked :)
