Welcome to the Temple Of Tease,

I am Rebekah, or on stage you may know me as Rara Claret. I am a multidisciplinary artist, choreographer, and sensual embodiment coach devoted to exploring and celebrating the wild feminine and divine masculine.

The Temple of Tease is my life's work, born from a desire to help others awaken their confidence, release shame, and wholeheartedly embrace their unique magic. with joy and celebration

With over 20 years of training in classical ballet and contemporary dance, I have developed a unique movement methodology that weaves together dance, artistic expression, mobility, archetypal storytelling, and somatic practices.

The Temple of Tease is rooted in the understanding that our bodies hold stories. As a facilitator, I guide you to deepen your connection with yourself, listen to the wisdom held within your body, and cultivate a sense of self-devotion, curiosity, and compassion along the way.

Through dance, movement, sensual embodiment, and the Jungian archetypes, I guide people through a process of self-exploration. Using burlesque as a powerful artistic tool, we uncover universal patterns, integrate shadow, deepen self-awareness, and celebrate the fullest expression of who we are.

The playful child, the temptress, the courageous hero, the wise witch, the rebellious outlaw — these and many more versions of ourselves exist within us. By embodying these energies, we can cultivate greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, confidence, and the freedom to express ourselves more authentically in everyday life.

The classes and courses I offer are for everyone. This work is not about becoming someone else or waiting for a future version of yourself to arrive — it is about meeting yourself exactly where you are, here and now.

I am deeply passionate about burlesque because I have witnessed its transformative power. I see women carrying the weight of shame, exhaustion, and disconnection from their bodies. I see men who have been conditioned to contain their emotions, movement, and relationship with the feminine.

To survive, many of us disconnect from our bodies. Our desires become hidden, our voices become quieter, and our truth becomes dulled. Through the art of burlesque, I have witnessed the unraveling of these patterns — healing, connection, confidence, and self-expression emerging in real time.

The Temple of Tease is a space where curiosity, courage, and self-expression meet liberation — where the messy, playful, erotic, and powerful parts of ourselves are not only accepted, but celebrated.

My burlesque persona, Rara Claret, grew naturally from this journey. She is my queen space — a place where I can weave together my sensuality, creative fire, and artistic expression with the beautiful chaos of life as a mother of four living rurally on a farm.

Through Rara Claret, my workshops, and my mentorships, I blend classical dance technique with somatic exploration and philosophy, mixing the sacred with the silly, the polished with the provocative to create storytelling burlesque experiences that relate, liberate, delight, and empower.

My own personal journey,

back to dance has been anything but linear. I left full-time dance training in physically and emotionally broken. I was 20 kilos underweight, I desperately  needed to make significant change in order to keep my life.

The years that followed were a period of many different incarnations. I moved through phases of healing, chapters of identity, new work, relationships, motherhood, and much personal growth. Dance continued to call me back and out in various forms, but I struggled to find a consistent relationship with my body and my artistry that felt supportive.

Looking back, these years they were not a departure from my path, but an essential part of it. They gave me a deeper understanding of the human experience beyond dance. My darkest moments of vulnerability ultimately have softened me while also showing me my resilience, they make up some of many sacred stories my bodies holds.

It wasn’t until the 2020 pandemic that I truly found my way back to movement. During this time, I experienced two miscarriages, the unraveling of my marriage, profound grief, and exhaustion. I was also eight years removed from any consistent dance practice. Motherhood, which I entered at 24, had brought immense joy, but alongside that joy was a growing sense of disconnection from myself and gave me a way of staying busy while avoiding the deeper emptiness within.

The pandemic lockdowns, as challenging as they were, created unexpected space. With my partner home to help, no work, and fewer external distractions, I returned to a daily movement practice.

The shift was profound. It felt as though I had been holding my breath for years, and suddenly my body had permission to exhale. I began listening, and my body began speaking. It craved touch, curiosity, play, and expression. Movement became the greatest portal for healing — offering emotional release, reconnection, and a deeper relationship not only with myself, but with my family and loved ones.

Through this deep somatic exploration, burlesque entered my life. What began as a fascination grew into a profound journey of discovery. I immersed myself in learning the art form, and through this practice, a new layer of transformation began to unfold. I was rebuilding confidence, joy, sensuality, and creative expression. My inner fire was reignited.

By 2022, I felt deeply called to share what was unfolding. I began offering my learnings to my community, bringing a grounded, somatic perspective to burlesque and witnessing how this work ignited a fire within my students too.

In 2023, my partner and I founded SULT Studio — an adult dance school where we combined our shared love and experience of dance, mobility, coordination, burlesque, and somatic embodiment to create a multidisciplinary movement space for our community in Bellingen, NSW.

Our students come to develop skills, improve their physical and mental wellbeing, and find connection. Every day, we witness people shed old stories, release shame, step more fully into themselves, and build meaningful relationships through movement.

As the burlesque community continued to grow and evolve, I felt called to create a more dedicated space for the artistry, sensuality, and transformational potential of this art form. In 2025, I launched Temple of Tease, as an evolution of my work and an extension of SULT. Creating a focused space dedicated to sensual embodiment, storytelling, and the transformative power of burlesque.
